 Management Team
Owners Terry Gipson and Lyn Smith provide direct in-line management. One or both will be involved with all projects undertaken by Beltline Electric. Our customers benefit by having direct contact with an owner/ manager who will have first-hand knowledge of the project.
Their wealth of experience prior to purchasing the company in 1991 is a valuable asset for Beltline Electric. As President, Lyn Smith brings 14 years of engineering background to the company. As Vice President, Terry Gipson brings 17 years of experience with field applications and management of his own construction company to Beltline Electric. This management approach gives Beltline Electric a depth that offers you, the customer, the benefits of a design group as well as an electrical contracting firm.
Both Lyn Smith and Terry Gipson are involved in professional activities outside Beltline Electric Company. Terry is actively involved in the local Chapter of the National Electrical Contractors Association, and has served as its chairman since 1990.
Lyn Smith sits on the Electrical Appeals Board for both the City of Paducah and McCracken County. He also serves as chairman of the Business and Organized Labor Together (BOLT) Substance Abuse Prevention Committee for the combined building trade unions in Western Kentucky.
